ชุมชนท่องเที่ยวบ้านบากันเคย
“ลุยเลย เคยลุย” “บากัน” หรือบ้าน ซึ่งเป็นภาษามาลายู แปลว่า “ที่พัก” พื้นที่พัก ที่หลบลม หลบแดด หลบฝน คนชาวเล ส่วน ”เคย” เป็นภาษาไทยถิ่นใต้แปลว่า “กะปิ” ดังนั้น “บากันเคย” จึงหมายถึงที่พักเพื่อทำกะปิ สอดคล้องกับอาชีพของชาวบ้านในพื้นที่มีอาชีพรุนกุ้งเคย (กุ้งตัวเล็ก) เพื่อนำมาทำกะปิ เพราะว่าพื้นที่แถบชุมชนบากันเคย นั้นมีกุ้งเคยเป็นจำนวนมาก จึงเรียกชื่อหมู่บ้านว่า “บากันเคย”
Ban Bagan Koie, the tourism community.
“Luy Loei Koie Luy” “Bagan” or “Ban” which is the language of Bahasa Melayu means “Accommodation” to stay for hiding from the wind, sunshine, and rain. And the word “Koie” is the local language that means “Shrimp Paste”. Therefore, “Bagan Koie” means the accommodation for making shrimp paste accordingly to their career that they are fishermen who catching small shrimps to making the paste. Because, around the area of Ban Bagan Koie has a lot of small shrimps to name their village as “Bagan Koie”
หาดสันหลังมังกรทอง
ละม้ายคล้ายสันทรายทะเลแหวก แต่ที่มีความแปลกแตกต่างของที่นี่ มีแต่เปลือกหอยนับร้อยๆล้านตัว ถูกกระแสน้ำเกรียวคลื่นซัดเซ มาทับถมกันเป็นทางยาวราวร่วม 4 กิโลเมตร นับว่ายาวที่สุดในเมืองไทยที่พบเห็น เชื่อมไปต่อระหว่างเกาะหัวมัน หรือเกาะปูเลาอูบี กับเกาะสาม หรือเกาะปูเลาตีกอ
ช่วงเวลาน้ำทะเลลด หดหาย มองไปในมหาสมุทร สุดเวิ้งว้างกลางทะเล จะเห็นระลอกคลื่นที่เคลื่อนเกลียวกระทบกัน เปลือกหอยเกร็ดเม็ดทรายสยายเลื่อม พายแสงทอแวววาว เป็นทางยาวคดโค้งไปมา ประดุจว่ามังกร ร่อนถลาพลิ้วไหว แหวกว่ายกลางสายธารา กำลังจะทะยานขึ้นเหนือน้ำ ค่อยๆโผล่ให้เห็น เฉกเช่นเสมือนมังกรทอง ทอดกายบนผืนน้ำ

This beach is similar to the sea is divided, but it is so strange that there are millions of shell lined up by sea wave being as a beach around 4 kilometers assumed that it’s the longest in Thailand, and connecting to Koh Hua Mun or Koh Pulao-Ubi and Koh Sam or Koh Pulao-Teekor.
When the sea is low tide, looking to the sea widely, you will see the sea waves, the shells are sparkle shining by sunlight lined up to be a beach as same as the golden dragon swimming, and showing himself onto the sea.
It is a beautiful divided sea, so impressive and amazing when you see it as if under a spell…just like a land of angel ocean “Satoy Mumbang Sung Kara”, the ocean and sky of Thailand.
