Relax sitting, and bathing with the clear water at Wang Sai Thong Waterfall, Golden Limestone Waterfall. Stream originated from the Khlong Wang Noi flows into the halls of caves under the mountains, spilling out into descending terraces, like lotus petals that gradually bloom around the cliffs. The beauty is enchanting. Sandstone floor that can take a walk safely. The atmosphere around is pleasant and lush. The shady of trees are suitable for sitting, relaxing, snuggling down comfortably in the midst of nature.

ถ้ำภูผาเพชร ยิ่งใหญ่ตระการตาภูผาเพชร ที่สุดของเมืองไทยใหญ่เป็นอันดับที่4 ของโลก ถ้ำเพชรหรือถ้ำภูผาเพขร ตั้งอยู่หมู่ที่ 4 บ้านควนดินดำ ตำบลปาล์มพัฒนา อำเภอมะนัง จังหวัดสตูล ทางขึ้นปากถ้ำระยะทาง 500 เมตร จะต้องเดินเท้าก้าวขึ้นบันใดไปอีก 299 ขั้น สามารถเรียกเหงื่อ และเสียงหอบของเราได้ไม่น้อย ก่อนที่จะเจอปากทางเข้าออก ที่มีช่องเล็กๆให้มุดเข้าไปภายใน[เล็กจริงๆ..ครับ จนเพื่อนบางคนที่มีน้ำหนักไม่น้อย เกินๆร้อย..บ่นพรึมพรำ จะเข้าได้อย่างไร..เนียะ..! อย่าเพิ่งถอดใจนะ..ครับ] ข้างในมันยิ่งใหญ่อลังการมาก ว่ากันว่า ใหญ่ที่สุดในเมืองไทย อันดับ 4 ของโลกเลยทีเดียว
พื้นที่ภายในถ้ำกว่า 50ไร่ กว้างใหญ่มโหฬารตระการตา ธรรมชาติได้รังสรรค์ ความสวยงามไว้อย่างน่าอัศจรรย์ใจ ซึ่งเกิดจากหยดน้ำภายในโถงถ้ำทำให้เกิดหินงอกหินย้อย เมื่อกระทบกับแสงคราใดจะส่องแสงแวววาวดุจประกายเพชร จะแบ่งเป็นห้องต่างๆกว่า 20 ห้อง มีไฟส่องสว่างตามบันใดไม้ช่องทางเดินไม่ให้พลัดหลง การตั้งชื่อแต่ละห้องตามลักษณะของธรณีสันฐานที่พบเห็น อย่างเช่นห้องม่านเพชร มีลักษณะคล้ายผ้าม่านแขวนเป็นหลืบซ้อนกัน ห้องพญานาคมีหินต่อตัวหัวคล้ายงูใหญ่หรือพญานาค ห้องปะการังมีหินงอกหินย้อยคล้ายปะการัง ประดุจดังเราอยู่ในท้องทะเล หรือรูปทรงต่างๆ ซุ้มประตูหิน, หัวแหวนเพชร, สายน้ำเพชร, หัวพญานาค, พญานาคปรก, เศียรพระ, ดอกบัวคว่ำ โดมแมงกระพรุน, เสาหิน, เสาค้ำสุริยา, แบบขั้นบันใด, แบบอ่างน้ำ, แบบเวทีการแสดง ที่มีมานานนับร้อยล้านปีคู่ถ้ำแห่งนี้
ถ้าเดินลึกเข้าไปภายในสุดจะพบโพรงเพดานถ้ำบริเวณนั้นเป็นช่องปล่องมีแสงจากธรรมชาติสาดส่องกระทบหินงอกหินย้อยเป็นสีเขียวมรกต ดูแปลกตาเลยเรียกว่าห้องแสงมรกต บริเวณที่สวยที่สุดคือห้องภูผาเพชรหินงอกหินย้อยมีประกายเหมือนเกล็ดเพชรระยิบระยับแวววาวยามกระทบแสงไฟสวยงามวิจิตรตระการตาเกินจะบรรยาย
การสำรวจโดยนักโบราณคดีของสำนักงานโบราณคดี และพิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งชาติที่ 10 จังหวัดสงขลา เมื่อพ.ศ. 2541 ได้สันนิษฐานว่าถ้ำแห่งนี้น่าจะเป็นที่อยู่อาศัย ของมนุษย์ยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ หรือเมื่อประมาณ 3,000 ปีมาแล้ว ซึ่งพบหลักฐานโบราณคดีกระดูกมนุษย์ยุคโบราณภาชนะดินเผาเคลือบลายเชือกทาบ ที่ก้นภาชนะมีเปลือกหอยยึดเกาะ หลังจากนั้นก็ได้พัฒนาเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวมาตลอด
Phuphaphet Cave
The world’s 4th largest cave, Phuphaphet Cave, located in Moo 4 Ban Khuan Dindam, Tambon Palm Pattana, Manang district, Satun. It is 500 meters long to the entrance of the cave that needs to walk up more 299 steps along staircases. That is quite exhausting before approaching to the entrance which is only a small hole. However, inside the cave is a very large and exotic space that has been said to be the largest cave in Thailand and the fourth largest cave in the world. The vast area of some 50 Rais inside the natural cave offers amazing beauty of stalagmite and stalactite that look like shining diamonds when reflect against light. The cave is separated into some 20 rooms with light up along ladders and walkway. Each room was named by its sight such as diamond curtain, serpent naga, corals, stone arch, diamond ring, Buddha’s head, upside down lotus, jellyfish, stone pole, sun supporting pole, ladder, pool, and stage room
.Walking further to the deepest part in the cave, a top hole on the cave’s ceiling where natural light shines to stalagmites and stalactites that gives an emerald sight of the room that became the name of emerald light room.The most beautiful room is the Phuphaphet room where exquisite stalagmites and stalactites are shining against light.
A field survey by archaeologists from the Office of Archaeology and National Museum Songkhla in B.E. 2541 presumed that the cave might be the habitation of prehistoric human that was about 3,000 years ago. The archaeological remains were discovered such as bones of ancient humans and earthenwares.Later on, the cave was developed to be a tourist attraction.

ควนดินดำน้ำดีผืนป่าที่เขียวขจี ถิ่นมะนัง ประดุจดังท้องนาวา ภูผาทอดแนวยาวราวพญามังกรพริ้วกาย สายน้ำไหลเรือล่องประดุจลอดใต้ท้องมังกร ถึงเจ็ดโค้งเจ็ดคดใต้โถงถ้ำ บรรยากาศเงียบสงัด เสียงน้ำไหลเซาะแทรก สิ่งแรกที่ได้พบเห็น ดวงตาวาววับล้อแสงไฟที่ส่องไปกระทบของกลุ่มค้างคาวที่เกาะตัวอยู่บนเพดานถ้ำ ดูราวกับกลุ่มดาวเคราะห์บนฟากฟ้าอันไกลโพ้น มีหินงอกหินย้อยอยู่ทั่วไป ก่อเกิดจินตนาการแก่ผู้พบเห็น ลำคลองคดเคี้ยวลอดถ้ำไปตามลักษณะธรรมชาติ ถึง 7 คูหา เป็นที่มาของชื่อถ้ำแห่งนี้ ”ถ้ำสัตคูหา” อย่าง “สาวยิ้ม” ผนังถ้ำมีสีเขียวมรกตมีหินงอกหินย้อยอยู่หน้าถ้ำ “นางคอย” มีหินย้อยหินงอกสวยงาม และฝูงค้างคาวจำนวนมาก “เพชรร่วง” ส่วนบนของผนังถ้ำมีช่อง ให้แสงอาทิตย์ส่องลอดลงมาได้ เมื่อแสงกระทบกับผนังถ้ำจึงเกิดประกายแวววาวเหมือนเพชร “เจดีย์สามยอด” พื้นทางเดินเป็นหินลักษณะคล้ายดอกกุหลาบ “น้ำทิพย์” ตามผนังถ้ำเป็นหินย้อยสีขาวและน้ำตาล หลืบซ้อนกันมองดูคล้ายผ้าม่าน “ฉัตรทอง” มีหินงอก หินย้อยซ้อนเหลื่อมกันเป็นชั้นเสมือนฉัตร “ส่องนภา” มีหินงอกหินย้อยรูปทรงคล้ายดอกบัวคว่ำ เมื่อเดินทางถึงคดสุดท้ายหรือคดที่เจ็ด มีลำแสงสุดท้ายที่ปลายอุโมงสาดส่องมองถึงชัยชนะแห่งการเดินผ่ามมิติพิศวงได้จบลงแล้ว
Khuan Dindam is a green forest in Manang district where resembles a boat and a long stretching mountain as if it is a dragon, while a stream flow though it as if flowing through dragon’s belly. At the Chetkot cave where its calm atmosphere among the sound of flowing stream. The first stunning sight of bats on the ceiling of the cave that look like stars when reflects against flashlight beam. Stalagmite and stalactites are commonly seen. The cave comprised of 7 grottos along its bending waterway. Each grotto was named differently such as smiling girl, waiting girl, dropping diamond, Chedi Sam Yod, Nam Thip, Golden Umbrella, light up sky. Till the last bend at the end of the cave where sunlight as if it is the congratulation light for the winner who completes the wonderful cave.
น้ำตกวังใต้หนาน
“ใต้หนาน”…ตำนานแห่งขุนเขาเรื่องราวประวัติ พื้นที่สีแดงในอดีตเป็นสถานที่ซ่องสุมกำลังของผู้ก่อการร้ายคอมมิวนิสต์ ยังมีร่องรอยค่ายฝึกทหาร ที่ตั้งโรงพยาบาลสนาม โรงครัวและหลุมหลบภัย จึงถือเป็นน้ำตกประวัติศาสตร์ บริเวณน้ำตกวังใต้หนานเป็นเส้นทางเดิน หรือสถานที่ตั้งทับชั่วคราวของคนป่า หรือนิกริโต ซึงเป็นชาวพื้นเมืองที่ยังคงใช้ชีวิตแบบย้อยยุคอยู่ตามป่าเขา น้ำตกวังใต้หนาน อยู่ในเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาบรรทัด หมู่ที่ 9 บ้านควนดินดำ ตำบลปาล์มพัฒนา อำเภอมะนัง ห่างจากหน่วยพิทักษ์ภูผาเพชร 7 กม.สามารถเดินเท้าไปยังบริเวณน้ำตกได้ หรือปั่นจักรยาน ก่อนถึงน้ำตกมีลำธารเล็กๆทอดแนวยาวไปตามป่าเขาแมกไม้นานาพันธุ์ ร่องรอยของสัตว์ป่าตามทางเดิน ตลอดถึงนกหลากหลายสายพันธุ์ให้ชื่นชม ตัวน้ำตกมีความสูงถึง 13 ชั้น โดยเฉพาะชั้นแรกมี่ความสูงและลาดเอียง น้ำกระเซ็นเป็นแนวกว้าง ช่างสดสวย
สันปันน้ำที่แบ่งเป็นสองสาย หนึ่งสายไหลไปทางจังหวัดพัทลุง อีกสายไหลไปทางจังหวัดสตูล บริเวณน้ำตกจะมีต้นหนานชุกชุม จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อน้ำตกวังใต้หนาน
Wang Tai Nhan Waterfall
“Tai Nhan” the history mountains of red area where was the communist place that equipped with training camp, battle field hospital, kitchen, and air raid shelter. It is regarded a historical waterfall. The surrounding areas of Wan Tai Nhan Waterfall is with walkway and temporary shelter of tribesmen or Nigrito who are the natives that live in traditional way in forest. Wang Tai Nhan Waterfall is located in Khao Bantat Wildlife Reserved Area at Moo 9 Ban Khuan Dindam, Tambon Palm Pattana, Manang district, about 7 KM from Phuphaphet Protection Unit. Walking or cycling to the waterfall is possible. Before the waterfall, there is a stream flowing along the forest. Trails of wildlife and many species of birds can be spotted along the way. The waterfall is 13 levels. The first level is high and slant. The splash water spread widely and looks beautiful. Watershed parts in 2 streams to Phatthalung and to Satun. There are a lot of Nhan trees that is the origin of the waterfall’s name.
